Every concept records what must be understood before it. The path is a topological sort of that graph: it walks back from your destination, collects every prerequisite, and orders them so nothing appears before the things it depends on. Within a level, concepts that unlock more come first.

Does it stop me reading ahead?

No. It shows readiness and what is missing, and every concept stays clickable. The graph describes how the material fits together, not what any individual reader already knows.

Is my progress saved?

In your browser only, with no account and nothing sent to a server. Clearing site data clears it.
